I found these old turn of the century wedding photos especially fascinating, especially the girl in the black wedding dress that looks quite corseted. I wish I knew more about turn of the century fashions, because I am guessing that the black would be from the 1890s and the white dresses from more about 1910s? [...]

1940s Swimming Pictures

I can imagine this World War 2 era couple having a nice week or two of bliss together, perhaps they got married while he was on leave, and taking a break to go swimming in the hot summer weather of wherever they were at. Maybe it was July when these pictures were taken in 1944!
