Here are some cabinet cards, post cards, and metal photos of teenagers, children, and young adults from the Victorian Era that I digitized on my scanner yesterday for the Carondelet Historical Society. I am really fascinated with the backs of cabinet cards, and I wish that they hadn’t had stickers put on them The photo by G.G. Shellabarger of Horton Kansas shows the young lady’s dress in exquisite detail. The little boy on the tricycle is totally cute, all dressed up in his fashionable whites, which I’m sure probably didn’t stay so starched and white for long!
