This is a really gorgeous pale green lounging jumper lingerie which I believe to be from the 1930s and made of silk. The front has lovely lace sewn on and It has lace around the neck, arms, and legs. This would be the perfect, decadent, cool summer romper to spend on a hot morning reading a book and sipping iced tea in.
Measured flat, it’s 50 inches long. 32 inches frmo the shoulder to the crotch.
Circumference around the waist is 42 inches and it’s cut straight, the tie defines the bodice or waist, so this will fit girls who are not petite! There is also a little ribbon in the back to hold the v-neck together.
The wrinkles are from drying flat after a brief soak in cold water. Previously, this piece was stored in a warehouse with a bunch of other vintage clothing I bought. I’ve tried to photograph this piece of vintage lingerie very completely, but upon measuring discovered a very small hole in the seam of the left armpit (the tear in the seam of the right armpit is pictured). There are some pinhole tears around the crotch, which looks like it’s been mended upon closer inspection.
It fits in a small Priority mail box- yay!
