This is SUCH a cool vintage psychedelic mini dress! It has an empire waist that nips in further at the natural waist line before flaring out.
Because of the loud print, cut, pinked seams on the lining, and brand, I am guessing that this dress is from the late 1960s or early 70s – it has a nylon zipper.
The label inside reads “Arnel” and on the reverse: “leicht zu waschen kaum zu bugein” , which is probably German for wash delicately in cold water.
55% Arnel, 25% Lurex, 25% Synthetics
The size reads “38″, but it’s obviously not a modern size 38!
Some wear around the long sleeve cuffs was found, but you can button both sleeves. It appears to be missing a belt, but can be worn fine without one. No major holes found. Some metallic threading coming out. I am assuming that arnel is the lightweight mesh fabric that the metallic is woven thru. Attached lining is a blue synthetic.
Very cute and wearable!
