This was such a fun photography workshop to organize with Joann of Clean Cut Creations Vintage Auto Repair. I have always wanted to put together a “shoot out” event, after having attended several on the coasts. The fact that we chose a vintage theme and were able to round up some classic cars, made things extra awesome.
I provided all the authentic vintage dresses, hats and wardrobe, I applied all the period styled makeup on the models, and guided their hair styles.
This is really interesting- a 1924 business to business advertisement for shop decor and displays by St. Louis business, The Walter F Zemitzsch Co at 1617 Washington Ave..
The other advertisement is for Gibson Knitting Mills (at 1510-1512 Washington Ave) welcomes people visiting St. Louis for this fashion show, and features an illustration of a girl wearing a drop waist sweater, cloche hat, and holding a cane.

I like the illustration on the Gold Medal Hats advertisement, the best. The lady in a cloche hat and bobbed hair is draped with a shawl coming seductively off her shoulder, holding a feather fan. The birthmark on her cheek is in the shape of a heart.
As you can see, I created an online vintage shop to sell my "old" clothing! This gives me an excuse to buy more photography props and more vintage clothing for models to model... and take more...
