I love how these little baby shower cards from the early 1960s have color illustrations inside as well as on the front! Such cute attention to detail! Cutely drawn and printed elephants, cherubs, and butterfly.

It looks like from these guests, the expectant new mother got a sheet set, receiving blanket, $5, and a white and yellow blanket. Very practical gifts!

The rhymes and messages inside these cards are fun to read:

“Wonder of wonders! Dear baby, that’s you, This gift brings best wishes for all your life through”.

“A gift that’s bringing wishes just as warm as they can be, for the newest little member of your happy family”
