I had such an incredible time shooting Dixie in her delightful vintage pink dress paired with her homemade ice cream cone high heels. Dixie Dupree, one of the most delightful pinup models based here in St. Louis, joined me in an unforgettable photoshoot to add some flair to her modeling portfolio. Her creative and quirky high heels—a visual play on vintage whimsy and fun—perfectly complemented the essence of pinup photography, which seamlessly blends cheeky glamour with playful nostalgia.
Pinup modeling itself has a fascinating history, tracing its roots to the 1940s and 1950s, when pinup girls became cultural icons.
