More about this Item
This jacket is straight out of the 1970s and is a phenomenal piece of tailoring history, built by the Esquire Custom Tailoring Co. in Seoul. It even has the original embroidered name tag, “Roy Krauss,” adding that perfect personal touch that vintage lovers adore.
Style & Construction:
Era: Classic early 70s—wide lapels, structured shoulders, and a sleek hip-length cut.
Material: Supple genuine Tan/Camel Suede that has survived beautifully.
Details: Double-breasted closure with brown buttons, contrast top-stitching, and front patch pockets.
Character & Flaws (Priced for Patina): This jacket is for the buyer who appreciates authenticity and character.
Exterior: The suede is dirty, scuffed, and heavily wrinkled/creased from storage. We feel this adds to the genuine “grunge” aesthetic!
Interior Flaw: The most significant flaw is the lining, which is heavily and permanently stained/discolored (likely water damage). It will require replacement or acceptance by the buyer. The suede itself is soft and sturdy.
Measurements (Approximate Flat Lay):
Flat Chest (P2P): 20.5 inches (41 inches doubled)
Flat Waist: 19.5 inches (39 inches doubled)
Length (Center Back): 25 inches
Sleeve Length (Shoulder to Cuff): 24 inches
Modern Sizing: Fits Modern Medium to Large (M/L).
