You will fall in love with this large classic blue and white polka dot vintage sheath dress… it is truly timeless! I’m guessing that it’s dated from the 1950s or early 60s because of the pinked seams with zig zag stitches and the metal Riri zipper up the back.
A classic, long sleeve polyester knit vintage 1970s dress in black and gold zig zag stripes. It features a peter pan collar and a loose comfortable fit to wear your favorite belt with. The dress is simple, elegant and very flattering.
Approximate modern size 10 but pay attention to the measurements!
Timewarp back to better times in this comfortable Kelly Green linen shift dress brought to you by the middle of the 1960s. Securely sewn on is a green and white beaded collar.
The label is most interesting, with order number, style, size, and remarks – I wonder if this was a sample piece? Affixed next to the ILGWU union label (dating this dress firmly between 1964-1973).
This dress is lined, the metal zipper works flawlessly, and it is in very good vintage condition. As you can see, there are two small stains on the front and only one bead is missing from the back. The attached lining is pulling away a little at the rear seams by the zipper. I was amazed at the details and workmanship in this fine dress!
Modern size approximately a size 12, but note the measurements:
40″ long
36 inch bust, waist, and hips (a true “shift” dress).
This plus sized vintage 1970s paisley print dress is in great condition! Check out the groovy wooden buttons down the front. Not lined (so needs a slip worn underneath probably). No label but I think this is made of acetate – polyester because the fabric is a little stiff and slightly shiny.
I think that this is a size 18, but pay attention to the measurements below to make sure that they fit you:
Vintage 1970s drop waist (“1970s does the 1920s”) tennis dress with a faux skirt. Looks like a skirt but really shorts! This would be really practical and cute for playing tennis, golfing, or doing other sports in. Woven polyester in navy blue and white.
What a cute vintage shirt dress! I’ve worn this out myself but can’t find pics 🙁 It’s sure to grab attention and compliments with its psychedelic but classic green on black paisley print.
The skirt part is lined but the main dress is sheer flowing viole. It zips up the side with a nylon zipper. No tags but it feels well designed and well made. I noticed the buttons are slightly loose, as would be expected for a dress this age, but no stains nor holes.
Approximate modern size 14. Measures (doubled at bust, waist and hips):
41″ long
40″ bust
31″ waist
24″ sleeves from shoulder seam
This is such a darling classic navy blue dress with small white polka dots! The collar is nautical inspired and is sewn in a double bow at the front of the scoop neck.
The print appears to be sheer polyester viole, and the whole dress is lined in dark navy blue acetate. The seams are pinked and reinforced with zig zag stitching, and the zipper is metal. I believe this vintage dress is from the 1960s.

This sexy vintage little black wiggle dress’s label is NOT to be confused with the famous actress of the time, Ruth Roman! The label on this 1950s sheath reads: “Ruth Roaman Gowns – 555 Madison Ave – Trademark for the Fashionwise”
This is a well made vintage 1950s sheath dress made of a double layer of fine crepe over satin that you can barely tell is 2 layers. Metal zipper up back with hook & eye. It was sold on Madison Avenue, probably many years before the 32 storey skyscraper was bought by the Coates Brothers (researching this dress I got on a LONG side-trail of trying to figure out what businesses were at 555 Madison Avenue in the 1950s, and came up with only this article from 1963 about the Coates Brothers buying the building from shipping magnate Manuel Kulukundis).
Measures (flat):
42″ long
16″ bust (32″)
12″ waist (24″)
16″ hips (32″)
Note on condition: A few tiny holes in front at bottom and back at bottom on crepe – could easily be hemmed shorter above them. Minor pulling on one of the front seams- not noticeable unless closely looking.
Some dust found when packing it – you will want to hand wash in cold water.
This amazingly sexy blue velvet halter top dress needs to find a new home. Is that you? Vintage 80s, the halter buttons at the neck and the top has light supportive shaping boning. The velvet has lots of stretch. Perfect for clubbing, lounging at the resort, or a special night out.
1980s fashions repeated the 1940s pinup style, and this vintage wiggle dress is a perfect example of that retro trend! It buttons up the front with red buttons that match the red ribbing trim.
Approximate modern size 14 but please pay attention to measurements:
This XL dress has sewn in shoulder pads and a nylon zipper up the side, which means that it was probably made in the early 80s. Roomy and made of a soft shiny cotton brocade, you will comfortably enjoy the warmer weather in classic style. Photos are pinned to show the shape. The bow on front snaps.
Approximate modern size 22 but please pay attention to measurements.
Measures flat:

22″ bust (44 around)
19″ waist (38 around)
23″ hips (46).
This amazing vintage 1950s pinup dress is made from an iridescent blue/purple brocade. Note the cute little kicker in the rear. It’s lovely for work or a night out, the mannequin does this XL vintage sheath dress no justice.
There is some slight seam stretching as pictured in the rear but otherwise in excellent vintage condition. Zips up the side with a metal zipper.
Approximate modern size 22 but please go by measurements.
Cute light pastel green 1960s dress made from thick textured polyester. It’s fully lined (so no need to wear a slip). You can dress it up, dress it down, wear it on a Spring day or wear it to work.
