More about this Item

Step into the room and immediately command attention with this ethereal, acidic green vintage ensemble by Jack Bryan. This two-piece set captures the romance and drama of the mid-1970s, blending a soft, flowing silhouette with heavy, glittering texture.

The Dress: The foundation of this set is a floor-length maxi dress crafted from cloud-soft chiffon in a striking shade of pale chartreuse (a yellow-green hue that feels very current). It features a high, gathered mock-neck collar (giving distinct space-age royalty vibes) and billowy sheer bishop sleeves that button at the cuffs. The bodice is lined, while the sleeves remain sheer for a hint of skin. The waist is elasticized and “snappy,” creating a defined silhouette before cascading into a full, lined skirt that moves beautifully when you walk.

The Jacket: The accompanying open-front cardigan is a work of art. Constructed from matching green lace, it is heavily encrusted with iridescent sequins, faux pearls, and beaded fringe that shimmers with every movement. It adds a layer of weight and luxury to the airy dress.

Condition & Vintage Character: This set is in very good vintage condition with some honest signs of age.

  • The fabric is free of rips or major stains.

  • Beading: As is typical with these heavy pieces, there is some bead loss on the jacket, specifically a missing “dangly” fringe section on the left shoulder and a few loose threads. I have left the loose threads intact should you wish to have them re-beaded.

  • Closures: The dress zipper works perfectly. The hook-and-eyes at the back of the neck are present, but the thread loops they hook into are missing (an easy fix or wearable as-is).

  • Note: The color is a vibrant, specific yellow-green. Please view all photos on different screens if you are particular about shade.
