1920s St. Louis Shoe manufcturer Advertisement

Nov 17, 2020 | 1924 St. Louis Fashion Pageant, Old Magazine Scans

Here are 3 more pages from the 1924 St. Louis Fashion Pageant. I really like the shoe advertisement the best with the lovely lady wearing an off the shoulder dress in an Oriental inspired setting. Such 1920s decadence and fascinating Saint Louis history!

The other ad is a very plain one for Finkelstein, and the final advertisement is for “Classy Jean Dresses”  – located in the Silk Exchange Building, St. Louis.

All of these 1920s shoe manufacturers advertised were located in St. Louis, most of them along Washington Avenue in the fashion district.
