You can never go wrong with polka dots. This vintage 1980s skirt was custom-made for a woman with a “big personality and a small body,” and it shows in the details! It features a classic navy blue base with crisp white dots—a staple of the Rockabilly and Pinup aesthetic.

The fabric feels sturdy and smooth—almost slick to the touch—and has a nice weight to it that holds its shape. It is fully lined in dark blue for comfort. The silhouette is a fitted pencil cut with flattering darting at the waist and a back kick pleat (vent) for ease of walking.

One of the best features of high-quality handmade vintage like this is the construction. It boasts a generous 3-inch hem, hand-stitched with care. This means if you are taller than the original 5’2″ owner, you could potentially let this hem down to gain extra length!

Condition: Great vintage condition. The fabric is crisp and the color is deep. Please note: There is a tiny bit of stress/pulling at the bottom of the zipper seam (see photos), which is common in fitted vintage skirts, but the seam is intact.
