The buttons may be decorative, but the pockets are not- you can keep a kerchief, some change, or your phone in them. As you can see, it is in pretty near-perfect condition (I didn’t find any flaws when getting it out of storage after 60 years). Guessing this vintage fur is from the early 60s. Cockatoo is my assistant and not part of this coat.
