This nifty shifty 1960s black shift mini dress is a wardrobe classic!
Timewarp back to better times in this comfortable Kelly Green linen shift dress brought to you by the middle of the 1960s. Securely sewn on is a green and white beaded collar.
The label is most interesting, with order number, style, size, and remarks – I wonder if this was a sample piece? Affixed next to the ILGWU union label (dating this dress firmly between 1964-1973).
This dress is lined, the metal zipper works flawlessly, and it is in very good vintage condition. As you can see, there are two small stains on the front and only one bead is missing from the back. The attached lining is pulling away a little at the rear seams by the zipper. I was amazed at the details and workmanship in this fine dress!
Modern size approximately a size 12, but note the measurements:
40″ long
36 inch bust, waist, and hips (a true “shift” dress).
This is such a darling classic navy blue dress with small white polka dots! The collar is nautical inspired and is sewn in a double bow at the front of the scoop neck.
The print appears to be sheer polyester viole, and the whole dress is lined in dark navy blue acetate. The seams are pinked and reinforced with zig zag stitching, and the zipper is metal. I believe this vintage dress is from the 1960s.
Measurements:
34 inches long
16 inch shoulders
40 inch bust (doubled)
32 inch waist (doubled)
40 inch hips

This is a cute polyester “Madmen” style little black dress with a neat ruffle and bow at the neck. Metal zipper up the back!
Approximate modern size 8 but pay attention to measurements:
Cute light pastel green 1960s dress made from thick textured polyester. It’s fully lined (so no need to wear a slip). You can dress it up, dress it down, wear it on a Spring day or wear it to work. This dress is in excellent vintage condition. Approximate modern size 16 but pay attention to the measurements.
Comfortable and cool! I believe this flax yellow vintage dress is from the 60s or early 70s and made of linen.
